Fiume Brenta - Managed Fishing Zones

This part of Brenta River is managed by Bacino Acque Fiume Brenta, an association that oversees 40-km (~25-miles) of this beatiful stream. This is the Kingdom of the stunning Marble Trout (Salmo marmoratus), an endemic specie of trout that can grow up to 20-kg (~45-lbs)!

Upper Trophy Zone

Here the Brenta River is a small stream, not more than 45 feet in most places. The water is always clear, and you can find marble, brown and some huge rainbow.


Trophy Zone

This zone holds the biggest marble trout of the river, along with many big brown trout. This section is open to both fly fishing or spin fishing.

NO KILL ZONE MAP.png

No Kill Zone

Really close to Bassano del Grappa, a small town 80 km from Venice, this part of Brenta River is really nice and easy to fish. This zone is fly fishing only, with many big marble and hybrid trout (marble x brown), huge rainbow trout a some big grayling.
